St. Augustine Welcomes
Sara's Crepe Café
By Leigh Cort
“When grandmother knew I was coming to visit, she prepared my favorite crepes…anything sweet! From sweet to savory, Sara's Crepe Café brings the tradition of Grandmother's homemade Breakfast, Entrée and Dessert Crepes to St. Augustine.”

Margarita Abramov
To Margarita Abramov, crepes are the jewels that open the heart and soul. In 1978, young Margarita came to America from Russia; she inherited her family's love of cooking and entertaining family and friends. Her home is always filled with friendship, laughter and tables laden with homemade delights. Sara's Crepe Cafe introduces her Grandmother's crepes to the American palate without losing the passion and taste of her family's recipes.
If Sara Lemberg was still living and able to enjoy an authentic European-style crepe in her namesake café, she would rejoice knowing that her granddaughter Margarita has created a restaurant in her honor ~ celebrating her 100 th birthday. Sara's passion for cooking, especially dessert crepes served with sour cream and fresh strawberry preserves, are the inspiration for Sara's Crepe Café . A fond memory from childhood, Margarita was always in Sara's kitchen surrounded by loving family, an abundance of exquisite food and oh, the crepes!
Margarita Abramov had a dream of opening her first restaurant in St. Augustine, Florida. SARAS CREPE CAFÉ has now taken its place in history at #100 St. George Street ( corner of Hypolita and Spanish Street ). She has transformed an existing space and courtyard into an inviting and elegant little café, surrounded by hundreds of years of European and American history.

Served daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the sweet and savory crepes and Belgian waffles are made with the freshest local ingredients whether dining in the open-air courtyard or in Margarita's colorful dining room. It's adorned with authentic treasured Russian gifts ~ and music fills the air as Margarita welcomes her guests as if they were family!
